Overview
This research will use participatory action research to explore the role of patient education and self-management as part of rehabilitation with persistent shoulder pain, with a focus on rotator cuff related shoulder pain. Input from patients, physiotherapists and other health professionals of representative ethnicities will be sought to co-design tools and processes relevant for the New Zealand health system and context.
