Overview
Design and degradation of footwear can influence balance and physical performance. Yet the potential role of footwear condition on foot function and balance is seldom considered as a risk factor for falls.
This research will explore how footwear influences foot function and balance during daily tasks in middle-aged and older individuals. The collaborative project will be shared across the School of Physiotherapy and School of Medicine.
