The Bachelor of Teaching is a three-year programme (or equivalent in part-time study) offered through the University of Otago’s College of Education.

  • Choose between early childhood education, primary education and primary bicultural education (Te Pōkai Mātauranga o te Ao Rua).
  • Fun learning environment with a good balance of theoretical, interactive and hands-on learning.
  • Unique placement programme with early childhood centres, kindergartens or schools. High contact hours ensure our graduates have real-world experience and enhanced practitioner skills at individual, group and whole-class level.
