*Extended Deadline for Summer Scholarships*
The University of Otago Legal Issues Centre is looking for two summer students to develop videos to assist people who do not have a lawyer with understanding legal process. The content of the videos will be developed in collaboration with the University of Otago Legal Issues Centre and our community partners. Each scholarship will be for a 10 week project taking place between 20 November 2017 and 16 February 2018 (exact dates by negotiation). Each Scholarship is worth $5,000 and will be supervised by Dr Bridgette Toy-Cronin.
We seek applicants who are either:
• Well-advanced in obtaining a legal qualification and are skilled at research and communication; or
• Experienced and interested in developing videos (either animated or using actors) to communicate with the general public.
We welcome applications from reliable and organised students who have skills in one or both of these areas. The ability to work independently and in close co-operation with the other team member is essential.
Please submit a letter of application and a copy of your curriculum vitae to email@example.com by the EXTENDED deadline 13th October 5pm. More information about the Centre is available on our website.
