The beautiful campus and an atmosphere conducive to learning initially attracted Camille Liao to the University of Otago.
“I chose Education as my major because it fits with my career plan. Having worked in the education field for a few years, I was looking to broaden my horizons.
“Hearing different perspectives from teachers from all over the country has made me think more and deepened my understanding of education issues. I feel lucky to be here.
“From an international student's perspective, I would suggest that incoming students take more initiative in study, keep an open mind, and embrace the wonderful Kiwi culture.”
