This paper helps establish a foundation for further work in Gender Studies such as GEND 102 Bodies, Sexualities & Society and GEND 201 Introduction to Feminist Theory. The knowledge and skills you develop in this course will benefit your study of many other subjects, too.
A good understanding of gender-related issues is essential and relevant to many career opportunities, including but not limited to consultancy, public policy, health, social work, family law, human resources, and human rights across public, non-profit, and corporate sectors.
