Information for academic staff about how COVID‑19 has affected Confirmation Path, Academic Promotion, and some performance appraisals.
Confirmation Path
The Confirmation Path process has been suspended. Once the end date is determined, the due dates for Confirmation reports will be updated.

Academic Promotion
The Academic Promotion timeline has also changed because of COVID‑19. The due date has been extended to 8 June and applications are now submitted online.

Performance and Salary Review for Senior Lecturers and Senior Research Fellows
The annual Performance and Salary Review for Senior Lecturers and Senior Research Fellows usually opens in May. This has been postponed until later in the year, and will happen around the same time as the biennial review for Senior Lecturers above the bar and Senior Research Fellows above the bar in September/October. Staff will be emailed as usual when the review is about to open.
