If you are involved in the onboarding or induction of new employees, you will need to use the RedCarpet Onboarding System. The resources below will help you to use the Onboarding System and understand the process.
Support and training for DIFs
HR Services will let you know when a new appointee has accepted a role and you can start the onboarding process. You will be trained in how to use the RedCarpet onboarding system by your departmental HR Administrator, who will also support you ongoing.
You can also make use of our e-learning modules for 'how to' guidance on using the various aspects of the onboarding system and process.
Support for Managers and DHSOs
As a manager, DHSO or other staff member who is involved in onboarding, you will find the first few modules of the e-learning above useful (particularly, the logging in and basic navigation modules).
Your DIF will provide support during the onboarding process and is your first point of contact if you have any questions.
Support for new employees
New employees are given access to an intuitive onboarding portal which guides them through the process of starting their new job.
Their first point of contact for additional support with the system, or indeed any aspect of starting their new job, is their DIF or Manager.
