Health, Welfare and Support Director/Manager

Manages the provision of health and welfare services within the University environment. Sets strategy, direction and objectives within the organisation; formulates, administers and reviews policy and legislation to ensure organisational and departmental objectives are met; directs and co-ordinates the allocation of assets and resources; and manages work activities, either personally or through senior subordinate staff. Includes occupations such as Clinical Director and Health and Welfare Services Managers.

General Practitioner

Diagnose and treat physical and mental illnesses, disorders and injuries, recommend preventative action and refer patients to specialist Medical Practitioners, other health care workers, and social, welfare and support workers. Registration is required.

Midwife

Psychologist and Counsellor

Investigates, assesses and provides treatment and counselling to foster optimal personal, social, educational and occupational adjustment and development.
