About the Discipline Pod
Nominations for 2018 NZWiL Discipline Pod Programme closed on Monday 25 June.

The New Zealand Women in Leadership (NZWiL) Discipline Pod is a Universities New Zealand initiative aimed at providing discipline-specific development and national networking opportunities for women at Lecturer and Senior Lecturer level. The focus of this programme is disciplines with particular equity and/or human capital challenges.
The discipline areas for the 2018 programme are Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Agriculture and Horticulture.
The Academic Divisional Office facilitates the University’s participation in the NZWiL Discipline Pod Programme.
2018 Discipline Pod dates and costs
Location: University of Auckland, City Campus
Academic Staff Programme: Tuesday 27 - Thursday 29 November 2018.
Programme Cost: $1,450 +GST per person including evening session meals, but excluding travel, transfers and accommodation costs. All expenses are the responsibility of the attendee’s Department or Division.
University nomination process
Completed nomination forms should be endorsed by your Department Head and Dean, or Pro Vice Chancellor where relevant.
Nominations will be considered by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) prior to their submission to NZWiL.
Following submission NZWiL carries out their selection process and contacts successful applicants directly.

Monday 25 June 2018 – Nomination forms endorsed by your Department Head and Dean, or Pro-Vice-Chancellor where relevant, due by email to academic.eo@otago.ac.nz
Week of 25 June 2018 – University nominees notified.
Friday 29 June 2018 – University nominees forwarded to NZWiL.
To Be Advised – NZWiL selects and notifies successful applicants.
