The Professional Staff Conference committee has commenced planning for our next event, planned for 29-30 August 2019.
The University of Otago is currently celebrating 150 years, so the conference is designed to commemorate our history as professional staff and to celebrate our exciting future.
We will have a range of events, competitions and speakers to ensure that you enjoy the conference, and we are looking forward to seeing you.
In the lead-up to this year’s Professional Staff Conference, we are celebrating the theme and the creativity of our professional staff by holding a poetry competition. We invite conference attendees to write a poem of up to 14 lines about honouring the past and embracing the future, or the University’s 150th anniversary.
Write or type a poem of up to 14 lines, and attach your name on a separate piece of paper. Deliver entries to the Registration Desk before the conference begins at 1pm on Thursday 29 August.
Multiple entries are allowed, but each must be on a separate page.
Poems will be displayed during the conference, and awards presented on Friday 30 August.
Competition open to conference attendees only.
