The Otago University Childcare Association provides quality childcare for the children of Otago staff and students.

Facilities

The University caters for new parents wherever possible, including providing car parks for new parents, and ensuring there are baby change tables around campus.

Breastfeeding

The University provides breaks for employees who wish to breastfeed as far as is reasonable and practicable in the circumstances. These breaks are unpaid unless otherwise agreed. Ask your manager to arrange appropriate facilities (i.e. private room). A fridge for storing milk can be borrowed from the Health and Safety Office.
