CBS offers many types of housing in different parts of Copenhagen: either in a room with a private landlord, in a house/flat, in a residence hall or in a shared flat for all students who apply before the application deadline. Please note that because of a shortage of sufficient student housing in Copenhagen, CBS cannot guarantee a particular type of housing.

The University, city and region
The University
Copenhagen Business School is an international school, focused on developing strong links between contemporary research and the active business community. The atmosphere is intellectual, but always in a way that keeps business realities firmly in focus. CBS has around 16,000 students and an annual intake of around 1,200 exchange students and almost 400 international students for the International Summer University Program. The School offers courses in Business Administration, Business Law, Economics, Finance, Management, Logistics, Marketing, Management of Technology, Strategy, Intercultural Communication and Management, International Business, Organization, Human Resource Management, Computer Science, Philosophy/Ethics, Service Management, Strategy, Asian Studies, Political science and Danish Language courses.
The city of Copenhagen
Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, is Scandinavia's largest and liveliest city and is home of the national parliament, government and monarchy, all situated in the heart of the city. Canals, lakes and the sea form the backdrop to modern Copenhagen and are a reminder of the city's heritage as a major Baltic port. The city's foremost historical and cultural sites remain concentrated in a relatively small area, while parks, gardens, water fountains and squares are scattered all over the city. A cosmopolitan city, Copenhagen abounds with sightseeing and entertainment possibilities. For music lovers and other revellers there is an active night scene which rolls into the early hours of the morning.
Copenhagen is known far and wide as the "City of Cyclists." This is due to its longstanding and lively cycling tradition. Cycling is a socially acceptable means of transport and it is not uncommon to see Danish ministers or mayors cycle to work.
