While our main campus is in Dunedin, we have teaching, research, and outreach activities throughout Aotearoa New Zealand, at campuses and facilities in Auckland, Christchurch, Invercargill and Wellington.
The Auckland, Christchurch, Invercargill, and Wellington campuses
The Auckland campus
In Auckland, Otago has dentistry facilities and the Auckland Centre, which offers a vital connection to New Zealand’s largest city.
The Christchurch and Wellington campuses
Otago’s Christchurch and Wellington campuses are medical and health science hubs for postgraduate students.
The Invercargill campus
Down south in Invercargill, the Southland campus offers College of Education programmes, and the Health Sciences Southland Study Hub is based at the Southland Hospital.
The Dunedin campus
Our main campus in Dunedin has been recognised as one of the most beautiful university campuses in the world, with a mixture of historic and state-of-the-art, purpose-built buildings, beautiful green spaces, and the Leith River flowing through the middle of campus.
A true student city, Dunedin’s population of 130,000 includes over 25,000 students.
