New Zealand Scholarships (Pacific)

Main entrance to the University at night

This scholarship scheme recognises the close personal, cultural, and economic ties that New Zealand enjoys with Pacific countries.  A particular focus is to increase the number of young students and high academic achievers studying in New Zealand and to build a new generation of Pacific leadership with strong links to New Zealand.

New Zealand Scholarships are available for both undergraduate and postgraduate study in New Zealand.

What they cover

Financial support arrangements offered differ depending on whether awardees hold New Zealand citizenship (Niue, Cook Islands, Tokelau, and dual citizens of Samoa) or not (all other Pacific countries and Samoan citizens).
