The Media Production team is based in the Owheo Building at the corner of Union Street East and Forth Street. Media Production provides a wide range of services from the regular interlinking/podcasting/streaming of lectures to the recording of special lectures such as:
- public lectures
- conferences and symposia
- inaugural professorial lectures
The Unit is equipped with a three-camera high definition studio complete with microphone boom and capability for seating up to about 50 people. This can be used to record HD interviews, demonstrations, teaching resources and can also stream live as well as record podcast files.
The Media Production Unit is also equipped to handle simple or complex field production with a wide range of cameras, microphones and ancillary equipment. They can also provide some format conversions.
