ITS Desktop Support (Corporate)

The Desktop Support (Corporate) Team

ITS Desktop Support (Corporate) is part of ITS Customer Services and consists of three staff: Gary Peacock, Becca Tennant and Tasha Derrett not pictured.

Gary, Becca and Tasha provide quality desktop support services to more than 280 customers in Student Services Division, Accommodation Services Division, The Vice Chancellor’s Office, Human Resources Division, Financial Services Division, Operations, Research Division, Marketing and Communications and other customers located in the Centre for Innovation. They want to make it easy for their customers to get help when they need it and welcome all enquiries. Desktop Support (Corporate) offices are located on the second floor of the Clocktower building.

Gary Peacock, Manager

Gary has worked in IT support for the past 18 years, 15 of these at the University of Otago, and is committed providing high quality IT desktop support to his customers. Gary’s role is to ensure that the customers he supports have robust and relevant IT systems in place to assist them to do their work efficiently and with confidence.

Becca Tennant, IT Support Consultant

Becca has worked in Desktop Support (Corporate) since 2010, and prior to that supported University of Otago students working as a Student IT Advisor (SITA). Becca has also worked outside of the University and has developed an excellent knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Applications. She is also fluent with mobile devices and is committed to the delivery of efficient Desktop Support services.
