Services Affected: Websites on the otago.ac.nz domain

Audience: Staff and Students

Description: We are currently experiencing issues with our webservices which means that anyone located off campus is unable to access our main website and all website services such as Blackboard, eVision etc.

Staff working offsite can continue to access these services by moving to a University network or wifi service, or by using a VPN.

Email and other Office 365 services are unaffected.

This impacts any website ending *.otago.ac.nz, including services such as Blackboard, eVision, and the main Otago web page.

There are also intermittent issues accessing external web pages from the University network.

These issues are under urgent investigation with no current timeframe for resolution. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this service interruption. Please contact AskOtago IT if you have any questions:
