macOS High Sierra 10.13 support at the University of Otago

Description: macOS High Sierra (10.13) support at the University of Otago

macOS High Sierra was released to end users on September 25, 2017 as a free upgrade from Mac OS X 10.7 or newer, through the Mac App Store.

ITS does not recommend upgrading to any new operating system until it is at least three months old. This is to allow time any initial problems to be resolved.

ITS supported versions of macOS are:

  • OS X Yosemite 10.10 (2014)
  • OS X El Capitan 10.11 (2015)
  • macOS Sierra 10.12 (2016)

Macs with older versions of macOS should be upgraded to an Apple (and ITS) supported version, preferably macOS Sierra 10.12.
