Update at 11:30am: unanticipated problems were encountered during this morning’s power infrastructure maintenance work, as of result of which the outage this morning was more prolonged than planned and the outage scheduled for this afternoon has been cancelled. Consequently, there will be no interruption to network services (or power supply) in the below buildings this afternoon.
Scheduled Outage: Wireless and Wired Network Services in the Buildings Listed Below
Timeframe: Thursday, 12 April 2018, 8:30am to 10:00am, and 4:30pm to 5:30pm
Services Affected: Wired and wireless network services (UO_WIFI, UO-STAFF, UO-STUDENT, UO_Guest) in the following buildings:
- Owheo Building, 133 Union Street East
- Executive Residence, 68 Forth Street
- Leith Gallery, 20 Leithbank
- UniPrint, 161 Albany Street
- ITS Clyde Street, 51 Clyde Street
Description: power outages in the above buildings to facilitate power infrastructure maintenance will result in loss of local network and internet access during the specified timeframe.
