UPDATED ALERT: Student and Staff Managed Desktop (VDI) Maintenance; Tuesday 24 July 2018, 7:30pm - Wednesday 25 July 2018, 1:30am

Services Affected:

  • Student Managed Dekstop (VDI)
  • Staff Managed Dekstop (VDI)

Audience:

  • All students
  • Staff users of the Staff or Student (VDI) Desktops; particularly Geography, AskOtago and University of Otago Christchurch personnel

Description: Maintenance will be performed on the physical infrastructure of the Student and Staff Managed (VDI) Desktop systems during the above timeframe.  The Desktops are expected to remain available during this maintenance, but engineers will be monitoring system health throughout in case unanticipated problems arise.

Update at Friday 13 July 2018: Maintenance originally scheduled for this evening has been postponed to the date given above.
