What should I do?
If you think your computer has been infected by malware please contact your departmental IT support for help.
- In many cases the operating system of an infected computer will have to be completely reinstalled to rid it of malware.
- To avoid losing important files, please make sure you regularly backup your work onto an external hard-drive or USB drive, your departmental file-store, or use suitable backup software.
