GraphPad Prism is a software tool that combines basic biostatistics, curve fitting and scientific graphing into one application. GraphPad Prism software is available for both Mac and Windows computer platforms.

GraphPad Prism software usage and licence terms

  • Staff and students can use GraphPad Prism software on University-owned computers.
  • Staff and postgraduate students can use GraphPad Prism software on their personally-owned computer for University work only. They can only do while they are University of Otago employees or students. A separate GraphPad Prism licence must be requested to be installed onto the personally-owned computer.
  • Postgraduate students can only use GraphPad Prism software on their personal computers for University work. They can only do so while they are studying at the University.
  • An annual licence for GraphPad Prism software is available through ITSS. The licence period is 1 January to 31 December.

University Departments

Please complete the online Software Order form to order GraphPad Prism software from ITSS.

Staff who wish to use GraphPad Prism on their home computer also need to complete a Work at Home application form (.pdf, 54KB) and email it to its.software@otago.ac.nz.

Postgraduate students

To request GraphPad Prism on your own computer, please complete the online Student Software Request form. You will need to sign in using your student email.

For University-owned devices, please contact a staff member from your department to complete the online Software Order Form on your behalf.
