The annual end of semester Spanish function was held on Thursday 15th May in the Humanities Division Tearoom. There was an array of Spanish food, drink, and music. The food was lovingly made by our Senior Lecturer Dr. Adelso Yanez.

Language Perfect offered one lucky student a scholarship (Bridget Gilchrist Language Perfect Scholarship) of NZD$5000.00 towards their course fees when they enrolled in either a Bachelor of Arts (Languages) or Diploma in Languages at the University of Otago for the 2014 academic year.

An enthusiastic group of University staff and students gathered in front of the Clocktower yesterday dressed in their national finery and holding their countries’ flags for a photo celebrating International Languages Week.
