Diploma in Languages (DipLang) and Diploma in Global Cultures (DipGlobalC)

The Diploma in Language (DipLang) and Diploma in Global Cultures (DipGlobalC) are separate, recognised and endorsed qualifications. They allow students to complete the programme of language study concurrently with their Bachelor's degree. Students specialising in areas within and outside the Humanities, can add a programme of language study (DipLang) or in global studies (DipGlobalC) to their main specialisation. ​

The Diploma in Language introduces a pathway with an exit qualification for students who wish to complete a programme of study in one of the five core languages taught in the Department.

The Diploma in Global Cultures prepares students for the pressing need to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for intercultural communicative competence and responsible, global citizenship.
