2019 Gallaway Cook Allan Prize for Law and Emerging Technology awarded

The New Zealand Law Foundation (NZLF) Centre for Law and Policy in Emerging Technologies is pleased to announce that the third-year student Emma Harris is the winner of the 2019 Gallaway Cook Allan Prize for Law and Emerging Technology.

Emma’s essay titled ‘The Six Million Dollar Man: Regulatory Challenges and Strategies in the Age of the Cyborg’ edged out runners-up Evan Pearson (‘Sex Robots: Pain or Pleasure?’) and Alexander Bryan (‘Regulating Driverless Cars’).

Emma accepted her prize from Gallaway Cook Allan CEO Matt Gorman at a ceremony held recently at the Gallaway Cook Allan premises.
