The New Zealand Law Foundation (NZLF) Centre for Law and Policy in Emerging Technologies is pleased to announce that the third-year student Emma Harris is the winner of the 2019 Gallaway Cook Allan Prize for Law and Emerging Technology.
Emma's essay titled 'The Six Million Dollar Man: Regulatory Challenges and Strategies in the Age of the Cyborg' edged out runners-up Evan Pearson ('Sex Robots: Pain or Pleasure?') and Alexander Bryan ('Regulating Driverless Cars').
Emma accepted her prize from Gallaway Cook Allan CEO Matt Gorman at a ceremony held recently at the Gallaway Cook Allan premises.
