    The general principles of the law relating to companies; legal regulation of the flotation of public companies and of the offering of financial securities to the public.

    This paper provides an introduction to the incorporated company as recognised and created by successive Companies Acts, with particular emphasis upon the duties of directors and the rights of shareholders.
