Visits to schools
Schools' Liaison Officers visit New Zealand secondary schools during Terms 1 and 2 each year to introduce senior students to the opportunities for living and learning at Otago. We are able to make presentations to all students, from self-selected groups to entire year groups.
Follow up course planning visits take place during Terms 3 and 4. This is a good time to look at individual interests and help students put their first year course together. Schools’ Liaison Officers assist with the transition from school to university.
Schools’ Liaison Administrators contact each school to organise suitable times for these visits.
