Gordon McAuslan (1919-1996), the Australian ceramicist, painter, and surrealist designed this Wyndham Lewis-like jacket for this edition of Ward's Journal published by Pegasus Press in Christchurch. The heavy brown textured paper used gives the book a solid feel.
