Baxter inner

An interim print project was the printing of an unpublished poem by James K Baxter called Pinetrees in the Key of F and a Rose in the Key of G. Dr John Holmes (owner-operator of The Frayed Frisket Press, St Leonards) printed the poem and Inge Doesburg, a local artist-printmaker, executed the images: woodcuts, embossing and solar plate etching. A triptych of colour was the end result. Catherine Gubbins, a local binder-bookmaker, made the board folders. Sixty copies were produced for sale. After primetime coverage on TV One news, this particular publication sold out.
