The Talking Trees and Other Stories

The Talking Trees and Other Stories

In 1986, O'Faoláin became one of the first writers since Samuel Beckett to be elected to the position of Saoi ('senior') by the Aos Dána ('men of art'), the name adopted by the Irish Arts Council. This reprint of his The Talking Trees, originally appearing in 1970, incorporates some of his better known short stories.
