Alexander Monro (tertius), Notes from Dr Black's Chymistry.
As in the generation before, Tertius studied under his father, and his father corrected and commented on the notes taken in his lectures. However, Tertius was not considered an academic powerhouse of his father and grandfather's ilk. There is no reason to doubt this Chemistry manuscript of his student notes and illustrations is in his hand.
