[Bernhardus Siegfried Albinus], Physiologiae.

[Bernhardus Siegfried Albinus], Physiologiae.[Bernhardus Siegfried Albinus], Physiologiae. These are Latin notes on physiology from the lectures of Bernhardus Siegfried Albinus, who was lecturing at theUniversity of Leiden. Monro Secundus visited Leiden in 1757, after working with the anatomist Professor J. F. Meckel in Berlin. It is thought that he purchased the manuscript at this time. The notes are strikingly similar in content to a set of notes in the Library the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh, accurately dated 1741.
