Nurse to the Imagination
The Press has also published a number of books related to the history of the University. In late 2008, the 50th anniversary of the Robert Burns Fellowship at the University of Otago was celebrated, among other activities, by the publication of Nurse to the Imagination, edited by Professor Lawrence Jones. That it had to be published in 2008 meant forward thinking, good planning, and battling a tight production schedule surrounding design, editing, and printing. Obtaining permission rights from authors and publishers was another imperative. Professor Jones, the English Department and the Press are to be congratulated for succeeding in documenting this very important literary award.
