Cook's Sites
Co-publishing or publishing in association with funding agencies are common strategies with most Presses, and UOP is no exception. The collaborative work of photographer Mark Adams and Nicholas Thomas on this highly visual and informative book about the sites that Captain Cook visited while in New Zealand was assisted by the Centre for Cross-Cultural Research at the Australian National University, and Creative New Zealand. It is only with the help of such agencies that some books see the light of day.
