Production handover notes from Harrex to Deadline Typesetting, Stewart Street, Dunedin, were specific: the text to be set in various point sizes of Century Old Style, text justified, galley proofs were required, page size determined (4 ems gutter; almost 6 ems towards fore-edge), and 'notes' and 'references' were to be placed as endnotes. Importantly, all the files were supplied on a computer disk. On display is a sample setting of chapter 2, faxed from Deadline to the Press.
