Wild Rivers
Every publisher likes a winning formula, and OUP have been particularly fortunate with adventurer Neville Peat and entomologist and botanist Brian Patrick. As well as the ‘Wild’ series: Wild Dunedin, Wild Central, Wild Fiordland, and this one – Wild Rivers, the Press has worked with them to produce Southern Land, Southern People, published in association with the Otago Museum for its major gallery of the same name. Peat and Patrick’s forays into the regions of the South have helped consolidate the Press’s position as a publisher in the natural history field.
