Paper. [388] leaves; 200 x 135 mm (small quarto). Gothic type; double columns, 58 lines to a full column. Title-page: f.1a 'Mariale de excelletus Regine celi.' Colophon: 'Impressum Mediolani per Magistrum Leonardum pachel. Anno domini M. cccc.lxxxxiij. die xxi. Maij.' Printed capitals throughout the text.

Binding

Faded brown boards. Spine cover detached. Spine title reads: De Busti/ Mariae/ 1493. Additional spine label (partially disintegrated) reads: Ecclesiastical His [tory] Series. No. [848].

Printer

Leonardus Pachel had collaborated with Uldericus Scinzenzeler in 1477-87, but the first edition authenticated as produced by Pachel is the Tartagnus, Super parte ia Infortiati, 27th March 1488 (Hain-C 15307). Pachel's print device is present.
