Study on campus or online and tackle the big issues: sustainability, climate change and resource scarcity

The Master of Sustainable Business is an interdisciplinary programme providing you with an advanced qualification in sustainability.

Drawing upon emerging research in the field, this programme will position graduates for a wide range of career options in the public and private sectors, as practitioners and policy makers in positions such as sustainability managers, business analysts, sustainable business consultants and sustainability advisors.

On campus Master of Sustainable Business (MSusBus)

Key information

  • Available on campus in Dunedin
  • Open to students who have completed a bachelor's degree in any discipline, with an average grade of B+ in relevant 300-level papers
  • Applicants with equivalent alternative qualifications or experience are also considered
  • Intake starts Semester 1 each year (full or part-time study)

  • MANT 459 Indigenous Management and Organisation (Advanced)

*A candidate will be exempt from MANT 437 on the basis of having previously passed MANT 337.

Online Master of Sustainable Business (MSusBus)

Key information

  • Available online through distance learning
  • Live evening classes using Zoom
  • Open to students who have completed a bachelor's degree in any discipline, with an average grade of B+ in relevant 300-level papers
  • Applicants with equivalent alternative qualifications or experience are also considered
  • The online program is designed to be studied part-time over the course of two years
  • Intake February 2024 (part-time study only)
