Reducing disease burden and health inequalities arising from chronic dental disease among Indigenous children: An early childhood caries intervention

This study is an international collaboration that aims to prevent early childhood caries among Indigenous children, both among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in South Australia, and Māori children in New Zealand. Specifically, this research seeks to determine if implementing a culturally-appropriate early childhood caries intervention reduces dental disease burden and oral health inequities among Indigenous children.
