There are a number of prizes presented to students studying the Otago MBA:
- Student of the year
$1,500 to the Student of the Year (awarded at the end of phase one).
- Best live case presentation
$2,000 to the syndicate who presents the best live case presentation at the end of phase one.
- Most improved student of the year
$750 to the most improved student of the year.
- International Professional Consulting Engagements
$TBA travel awards to up to three international Professional Consulting Engagements (PCE).
MBA Case competition
Both on-campus and online students also can take part in the MBA Case competition.
Competing teams of MBA students from NZ universities are provided with a hypothetical business problem to solve¬–the best strategy wins!
