Teaching and industry experience

Lynn has been involved with academics from the United Kingdom and Switzerland and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (UK) studying property bubbles in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand. And with Australian academics analyzing Japanese asset bubbles. Consultancy has included national and local government projects including tax, education, banking, electricity and market research. Research has ranged from, theoretical statistics, quality control, real estate, financial risk management, strategic management and statistics education. He has been a participant at the North American Making Statistics More Effective in Schools of Business Conferences as well the International Conference on Teaching Statistics.

Why does Lynn enjoy teaching in the MBA programme?

Lynn enjoys the challenge of teaching a class where there is a very diverse range of quantitative backgrounds. The students are very motivated as they are looking for techniques to use in their future careers. Unlike undergraduate teaching, the classes themselves are very flexible with much student participation and discussion..
