Role and responsibilities

Glenda’s role and responsibilities extend over the Otago MBA and Executive Education programmes. She manages the recruitment, selection and admission for Otago MBA candidates, and is responsible for the overall management of the Executive Education portfolio.

For the Otago MBA Glenda ensures that entry requirements, are met and that students who are accepted onto the programme are equipped to handle the rigorous curriculum.

Why Glenda enjoys working with the Otago MBA programme

Most of all I enjoy being part of the journey that brings diverse and highly motivated students to an internationally recognised and accredited qualification that provides robust academic learning, practical application of that learning, and the opportunity to form valuable connections both within and outside of the Otago MBA programme.

Industry experience

Glenda has over 10 years’ experience in the tertiary sector, including eight years as External Relations Director at the University of Canterbury business school. In this role, she actively promoted the MBA programme to key client groups and individuals, supported MBA recruitment activities and programme development, organised and co-led international MBA study tours. Her business development experience in the commercial sector includes global manufacturing, construction and heavy equipment, recruitment, retail mall management, and public relations.
