Dr Graeme Hart.
Graeme Hart is probably the most well-known of Otago MBA's alumni. Although he is a very private person, he is frequently featured in the media.
His life experience has been very interesting. Dropping out of school at 15, he went through various jobs and eventually work on starting his own business. He enrolled at the Otago MBA at 32 and subsequently become the richest man in New Zealand.
Dr Hart is easily recognised as one of the most successful businessman to operate on a global scale. His priorities revolved around family, work ethic, strong values and integrity in his personal and professional life, and his philanthropic focus on helping New Zealand children. At his honorary doctorate conferral yesterday, he gave an immensely inspirational speech to the new graduates and shared his valuable business experience.
