Following Orientation, you will undertake 12 core papers of 15 points each, a live case study and a set of extra-curricular activities.

Full-time and part-time programmes (60 points)

You can choose to complete Phase 2 through international exchange, on-campus semester, summer electives, a business project, or a combination of these. Schedule and location depend on your choice.

Summer electives are usually conducted on-campus in Dunedin and include:

March - October BMBA 550 Otago Semester Electives If you decide to stay on campus, you can choose from one of the following elective options run by the University of Otago Business School:
  • Accounting and Finance
  • Advanced Management
  • Marketing
  • Tourism
  • Healthcare Management
  • Entrepreneurship
Flexible BUSI 540 MBA Professional Consulting Engagement (60 points)
  • Major in-company consultancy project
  • Can be undertaken anywhere in the world
  • At least three months' full-time effort
Flexible EXCH 000 International Exchange We have exchange partnerships with about 20 world-renowned universities in the US, Europe, Latin America or Asia.
