International teaching and industry experience
Clare has been in legal practice and legal education for over 30 years. In recent years, she has been training and mentoring law graduates who seek admission to the NZ Bar, and now combines lecturing with work in the Disputes Tribunal, a division of the District Court.

Global perspectives
Learning the basics of business law, and having the capability to assess legal advice, is an important pre-requisite to operating effectively in any business environment. The BMBA 501 Business Law course concentrates on the New Zealand model. There is however universal application to the legal model of thinking involved, and the methods applied to both investigate and analyse real-life legal scenarios.

You are encouraged to come to your lecture space well prepared, and with personal philosophies that encourage collegiality in learning. This will accelerate both your own learning and your ability to apply your learning to your own current or aspiring work models.
