Brooke Marsters - Flash glucose monitoring among youth with type 1 diabetes: cutaneous adverse events and sensor longevity
Brooke is a medical student currently studying towards her BMedSc(hons). Her research project focuses on the use of flash glucose monitoring in youth with type 1 diabetes mellitus and high-risk glycaemic control. She is supervised by Associate Professor Barbara Galland, Associate Professor Ben Wheeler, and Dr Sara Boucher. Specifically, Brooke has evaluated cutaneous adverse events and sensor longevity associated with flash glucose monitoring use and in comparison with standard care.
