Research

My research expertise lies in devising methods to protect against bacterial associated diseases and infections in humans by using natural and commercial therapies.

Research Interests include

  • Oral biofilms and their role in disease processes.
  • Control of biofilm development using novel treatment approaches.
  • Between person variability in disease development and response to treatment.
  • Methods to study complex biofilms, in particular using molecular and microscopy techniques.
