Fran is a research assistant for Prof. John McCall and is part of The Colorectal Translational Research Group.

She is also currently working towards an MSc in biochemistry. Her project examines aspects of vitamin D gene expression in healthy and tumour tissue, working towards determining whether a correlation between vitamin D levels and colorectal cancer exists.
